Product Update

As triathletes across the country start preparing for their 2014 race season, our team here at Story38 Alliance is working hard on the launch of our flagship product, the triathlon bag. We can’t wait to provide our fellow athletes a fresh, thoughtfully designed way to carry their gear while training and racing.
 
We’ve interviewed athletes across the country and identified all of the major problem areas created by the current bags on the market. We’ve hunkered down in the studio to figure out ways to address these issues. We’ve designed, prototyped, tested, re-designed, re-prototyped, re-tested, and hit “repeat” several times over. 
 
We’ve inspected hundreds of fabrics, zippers, pulls, buckles, and other key hardware from all over the world to find the best materials to use. We’ve assessed manufacturers worldwide in order to find the best partner to produce our very first bag for the triathlon community.
 
We’re enjoying the journey, and the best part of it has been connecting with so many fellow triathletes through customer interviews, focus groups, Facebook, and Twitter. 
 
We especially appreciate the new connections we’ve been able to make with all the athletes who applied to field-test our flagship product. We selected a handful of athletes to field-test our bag to help us ensure that it meets the needs of our fellow triathletes. Once field-testing is complete, we’ll make our final modifications to the bag and prepare for our first production run.
 
We had an overwhelming response to our call for Field Testers, and we thank those of you who applied for your interest and support. Thank you for allowing us to get to know you through your submissions. If we weren’t able to select you to test our bag, we look forward to meeting you at a future race.
